Based off the Mannerist painting "Madonna and Child with Angels" by Parmigianino.

Mixing Japaneese style with christian iconography makes for some...interesting results. I really like this piece. Hope you enjoy it too.

O.O.. alien. *grins* this is extremely interesting, I love the shading and the general oddness of the whole piece *stares* It's almost a little disturbing.

Hm, Ill be honest and say I think theres a prob with the neck collar bone area. Her form gets broken here, and the muscle structure is lost. I point it out only because from there down the drawing is exquisite. The shadows, the design and swirl of her robe, the volume in the child figure. All this is very perfect, so the other stuck out to me. I should say the head it self is fine. Dig the hair. ;)
