Persephone was daughter of Tetida, godes of summer in Greek mithology. she was kidnaped by Hades couse he fell in love with her and her mother fell in to sadness and the great winter came upon the world.
After a while, Zeus finally ordered Hades to releas Persephone so Tetida would worm up the world again.
Unwillingley, Hades released Perephone, but a strangest thing happened witch no one counted on - Persephone actually fell in love with dark Hades in some twisted way so her mother had to let her go back to him every once in a while during the year - and that is why we have seasons. autumn and winter when Peresphone prepairs to leave and go her mothers side to be with Hades the world slowley falls a sleep, but as the moment of her returning aproches, Tetida starts to feel worm again and then the spring comes to melt the ice of sorrow and brings us summer ;)

Great work dude. I like it, you managed to show that dar side of Persephone's character like I have rearly seen in art. Good work ;)

this is gorgeous.. it's surreal, erotic, and forceful. it's got a very powerful, vulnerable element to it, and one of the phrases that comes to mind is 'no consent.' i love the symbolism, especially the pomegranate-Persephone (as you mentioned) reference.
