Colour - 2hrs 30 mins.
I saved a scan of the original inks I did, so I might try and colour this digitally once I get a tablet or something . If you want me to post the inks, just tell me eh.
Jeff! You copied my katakana too much! Especially on the "n"; I messed up one of the lines and drew over it and you copied that! And your shi looks more like a tsu, as I had feared
K, I'll stop being picky about that, since the writing is the least important part of this pic . This is very awesome Jeff, your tributes to other artist always rock and always successfully incorporate your style. Love the cog kimono! Very nice touch. The background is beautiful and helps the figures stand out.
this is great, really it is. You got the style down to a tee. And a short amount of time too! If i didnt know better i could easily say this was a picture from feudal japan period stuff etc !
Kept this window open for a while while doing other things, and every time I come back to the screen to view it, I notice a different part of the picture that I hadn't before. Really enjoy when that happens. Great work, very in keeping with traditional work from Japan. Did you have any inspiration or starting point for it?
Would love to see you do a similar piece based around a samurai sometime if it ever tickles your fancy. Great work, a nice change to your typical work

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The gods must be crazy.
Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats.
