I love his work...Am I crazy for wanting Square Enix to try to pull off a game that visually matched his style/vision? You'd think with all the shaders and tech we have these days that it would be totally possible.  I loathe the new Zipper/Belts//Overcomplicated Sci Fi look that has taken over the FF franchise this past decade....Yeah I know it'll never happen...I assume most people only like final fantasy to look at the androgynous mid drift showing boy heroes and assless chappes.....Yeah true, Rikku was hot.  BUT SSSH! I want to get a LCD monitor (I've been using my good old CRT for years cause its color is so FAB) But I want something less bulky now...and I think it's time to update anyways.  What should I be looking at for a good monitor? I was told about not getting one with "TN" paneling but...that's about it.  What's a good...speed...time..thing? *is that like a refresh rate? fuck if I know! CRT 4 life!*  Being a colorist kinda guy I need to get...the best possible image I can get.........for under 500 bucks CND   Is it possible?

Ok.  I wanna learn to paint well traditionally.  Preferably acrylics, since oils are a fuckin mess and I've never liked them.  I'm not horrible with paint, but I only do a painting like once every 2 years and is hardly up to my standards.  any PRO TIPS??!?!?!
I feel like being a digital painter I won't really get me the opportunity to become a snobby "fine artist" and just sit around doing whatever the fuck I want and throw it in a gallery and get fuckloads of money.  Cause it's just that easy right? yeah.  Must be.

Wii.  How the hell are videogames going to grow up and evolve as an artform if people just wanna waggle peices of plastic frantically infront of a TV to cheap minigames with no more depth than pong.  I'm not saying like "all games should be like gears of war", that game isn't what I mean by "grown up".  Blah whatever.  I just miss being excited about games I guess.
