Coraline is awesome, a must see for everyone.  It's so great to see a """kids""" movie that has some fucking BALLS and can scare the fuck out of you sometimes.

Couldn't get the time off work, so no japan for me until atleast this winter :( Boo.  thanks for the tips and stuff though everyone! It will come in handy.

Question for anyone who's had a table in the artist alley at sandeigo comicon (its worth a shot) is it 350$ for an 8 ft table? Or 4 ft table?

1: GTA4 is boring
2: Lost Oddessy has a disappointing art style
3: Dawn of War2 beta is really fun, even if it's basically Company of heroes with Orcs
4: Braid is an amazing little game that everyone with an affinity for interesting art    styles and music and challenges should get.
5: Peggle is bliss

I just saw Coraline last week and I totally agree, I absolutely loved it.

Sorry to hear that about the Japan trip, better luck next time. :)

Haven't seen Coraline yet, but I read the book and I've been REALLY looking forward to it. It seems like the story is straightforward enough that it can't be mutilated on its way to the screen. One of Gaiman's best, IMO.

coraline was awesome- definitely a must see. I havent seen it in 3D yet though. The only thing about the movie that bothered me was the ending, the whole barbecue scene or whatever it was. It didnt seem to match the rest of the movie, and was kinda anticlimactic, i feel like the grandmother and coraline should have had a more meaningful interaction.

coraline was a great movie. it won't cause nightmares in anyone above the age of 12 but it was a little unsettling. and pretty. very, very pretty. can't wait for the dvd.

I'm seeing the movie soon!
The greatest thing about Coraline (and everything Neil Gaiman writes, really) is it doesn't assume that kids are stupid and should be talked down to. Kids know the world is scary and awesome and weird. Treating them like idiots is a sure way to raise a stupid adult.

yeah hey? I was really dissapointed with Stardust though, it felt like the director wanted to pussify it as much as he could >_>
