I'd say cintiq. Or porn, because seriously? There's not much going for PS3. If you really want to play games just upgrade your computer for the same amount of money and you can play almost any game (including console ones if you get good emulators).
You make sweet work dude, so if you think a Cintiq will help you do something that you can't right now, buy it. But it's hard to say if you already can do everything you really want with a tablet. A ps3+TV is sweet, but that's taking time from you rocking socks with your art. I guess that can be the same for Porn too, haha. One dude said save and I'd agree. If you can make up your mind, that sometimes means you don't really need it. Love your stuff -
I bought the Cintiq last month, and it´s worth every peny...besides it will make you faster and possibly make more money....therefore you get to buy a kick ass TV with PS3 ...like I also did yesterday! XD XD
Call me boring, but I'd save my money! Or get something fun and totally new that lets you do something completely different instead of painting/video games.
yo jeff wacom just dropped 500 on the 21 inch cintiqs we've got one at work and its pretty effing sweet also i just tried out the 12 inch cintiq at londondrugs its awesome tiny but awesome and really portable .. if u need it to be its 1299 at LD but NCIX is selling it for 999 ppl have already summed up the pros and cons of it so i wont repeat its got a novelty to it.. how soon it wears off or if ever at all i dunno its still an awesome thing.. i mite be getting the 12 incher in a few months to sculpt with haha goodluck either way
Well, I've heard mix reations to the Cintiq's. I personally have a Intuos and haven't seen any reason to upgrade again as of late... But I will say at not at the same point in my art "career" as you are, though. It'd probably be more to your advantage to get the Cintiq than it would for me. I still scan more of my linework since I still haven't come across ANY art program or mouse that can do what I get with scanning paper, and I only use a tablet for coloring
And on the PS3s.... Solid Snake on a widescreen plasma=ORGASMIC. Just thought I'd share.
